Tom Brady wasn’t always the most recognizable athlete in his family.
The Patriots’ four-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback posted a high school writing assignment on Facebook for Throwback Thursday.
“Tommy Brady” was 17 when he handed in this essay on Oct. 19, 1994. He talked about how his older sisters Maureen, Julie and Nancy were recognized at the regional and national level in softball, basketball and soccer while he was the “tag-along little brother.”
It’s safe to say Brady reached his goal of getting out of his sisters’ shadow. He might have been a little off when he said that someday people will go up to his sisters and say “Aren’t you Tommy’s sister?” because nobody calls him Tommy.
And it’s a good thing Brady doesn’t have a sister named Marcia.
