New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady used one too many spin moves in the third quarter of Sunday night’s game against the Denver Broncos, and he paid for it.
Just a few plays into the half, the Broncos showed pressure, but only brought four, and that seemed to confuse Brady. The Patriots offensive line, which has looked sieve-like at times, got absolutely manhandled and the pocket quickly collapsed for Brady. He tried to spin away from the pressure, twice, but lost his footing on the second attempt and took a spill for a sack.
And it was pretty funny to watch.
Unfortunately for the Broncos, Von Miller dived at Brady while he was already on the ground, and was hit with a penalty for delivering the late hit.
