Not long after word of Tommy Hanson’s death made it’s way to social media…the whispers of drug use started making the rounds.
Because that’s what happens when an athlete suddenly dies of “catastrophic organ failure” at 29-years-old.
First, it was just speculation.. Then, while the pitcher’s Major League Baseball brethren mourned his passing, came the claims that the guy Hanson was allegedly with at the time of his “catastrophic organ failure” was a known cocaine user.

Naturally, an official cause of death for the 2009 National League Rookie of the year is pending an autopsy and a coroner’s report, but some quick connected of the dots makes it appear as though the whispers might just be more than that.
But who really knows for sure?
