Golden State Warriors backup center Festus Ezeli was the victim of a pretty funny April Fools’ Day prank by some of his teammates.
He gets picked up by a Lyft driver and hears on the radio that he’s been released from the team. His phone starts blowing up with messages from teammates expressing their condolences, and the look on Ezeli’s faces says it all—he can hardly believe it.
Andre Iguodala, who is the mastermind behind the prank, lets Ezeli know it was all a joke at the end of the clip and it’s hilarious.
Update: Ezeli took to Twitter shortly after and warned Iguodala.
