Poor Jeremy Maclin. As he was running full speed after returning a punt 18 yards in the third quarter of Sunday’s Eagles-Cardinals game, no one on the Arizona sideline wanted to help slow him down or stop his momentum as he approached.
He crashed into a Gatorade table and took an unexpected bath as a result.
He was a bit unlucky, as if this had happened on the Philly sideline, his teammates likely would have caught him and slowed him down.
Fortunately, Maclin was okay afterward and did not appear to get hurt on the play.
At least he’s staying hydrated.
