“Throw it back!” That’s what you’ll likely hear if sitting in the outfield during a baseball game when the visiting team hits a home run.

One particular Cubs fan attempted to troll the rest of the Wrigley Field bleacher-goers at Saturday’s Braves-Cubs game into thinking he did just that.

After catching a home run hit by Braves 3B Chris Johnson in his mitt, the fan cleverly pocketed the ball and no one in the section noticed. But if you look closely, you can see him take a decoy ball out of his pocket.

He then grabbed the decoy ball and launched it onto the field. The fans erupted in cheer, but they failed to notice that he had duped them and pulled off an epic switcheroo.

And apparently, this trick is nothing new for this particular fan. Ken Keiffer is his name, and he lives near Wrigley Field. He reportedly attends games during batting practice to catch as many balls as possible. He then uses those balls as decoys, according to MLB.com.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world he didn’t exist.
