Y’all Salty

Sharks twitter was salty tonight.

You guys know it was just game one right? Sure, It’s game one of the WCF, but still, IT WAS GAME ONE. While the Sharks didn’t look great, the Blues didn’t look much better. In fact, they looked down right mortal. If the Sharks had managed to put together a good third, they might have tied/won the game. I didn’t get to see the first, though I heard it was pretty underwhelming on both sides. I’m not surprised. Both teams went a full 7 games in their last series and both teams are going to be tired. Both teams are going to be more injured than we realize and both had amazing game 7s, which meant both were probably do for a bit of a crap game.

Look, it’s not the end of the world yet. I figure the Sharks take game 2 in St. Louis, come home tied up, and that this probably goes the full 7 before ending in the Sharks favor. (Why am I picking the Sharks? This is a Sharks blog, isn’t it?) It’s going to be a long, drawn out, bloody war, with a side of underwhelming play and a bad night for Brent Burns. Let’s not panic yet. There’s still a long way to go.
