It’s week 6 and it’s time for daily fantasy fun! Don’t forget to look for my “Big dawg to sit” within the article! Remember, notables are guys usually on the cheaper side that could change your lineup.
Eagles vs Redskins
Notables: Ryan Mathews 6500
Eagles Defense 4500
Jamison Crowder 6000
Kirk Cousins will look to have trouble against this defense that shut down Pittsburgh especially if Jordan Reed is out. D jax could be shut down so look for Crowder to pick up slack. Redskins defense is top 5 worst against the run so Mathews should see a ton of work.
Steelers vs Dolphins
Notables: Arian Foster 6500
Sammy Coates 6400
Jesse James 5400
Fosters first game back he should go back to his old self but just don’t forget to breath when he gets hit. Sammy Coates was practicing and catching balls even with a cut bad enough to get stitches on his hand, I don’t expect the same performance ever again from him this year but I do expect deep catches. Antonio Brown will have a season high this week mark my words.
Jaguars vs Bears
Notables: Tj Yeldon 6700
Jordan Howard 7700
Cameron Meredith 5400
Yeldon currently owns this backfield and should see plenty of dump offs. While Howard is still semi cheap he should be in your lineup as a RB2 or a Flex in DK. Meredith I am not convinced of at all. Second year guy and had one amazing game, but if you need a flier he has potential and is super cheap.
Browns vs Titans
Notables: Isaiah Crowell 6500
Delanie Walker 6700
Gary Barnidge 5300
Coming off a brutal beat down the Browns will look to rely on their running game again and Crow should continue to produce(minus last week). Walker is a top 5 tight end when healthy and Mariota loves him, as for Barnidge each game he seems to be getting more and more production and soon will be the end zone threat he was last year.
Bengals vs Patriots
Notables: James White 5700
Andy Dalton 7600
Only two for a few reasons. Whomever you have on the Patriots that’s worth having you’re starting no matter what. On the Bengals? That’s a different story. If you’re PPR you’re starting Gio, Hill has been disappointing and is touchdown dependent, Aj Green is always a must start and then there’s Dalton. Dalton still finished off last weeks awful game with 20 points solely from garbage time. So whilst the coaching and on field play may look awful for their team it will still look good on your team.
49ers vs Bills
Notables: Tyrod Taylor 7800
Kaepernick 6400
Didn’t expect that did ya? This is Kaepernicks coming out party. He NEEDS to do well or it is Ponder time. I don’t expect much through the air but a ton on his feet. Also, I’d keep an eye on Torrey Smith because Kaep used to enjoy airing it out when he couldn’t get it done on his feet. Hence the interceptions. Ya know something? Rex Ryan is the Chris Christie of football. On the heavy side… gets his under qualified brother a job… and is about to lose his. Expect him to pull everything out for each win the rest of the year.
Ravens vs Giants
Notables: Terrance West 6500
Sterling Shepard 6700
Mike Wallace 6400
West has surprisingly still been doing well while Dixon is still getting into football shape and he’s still super cheap. Shepard is looking for a bounce back week even though the Ravens defense has given up the least amount of points out of any defense. Wallace will look to take over as the leading receiver while Steve Smith is out and Kmar Aiken has a chance to show he still has what he had last year.
Rams vs Lions
Notables: Tavon Austin 5700
Dwayne Washington 5200
Matt Stafford 8000
Theo Riddick is out this week and Washington has returned to practice. It seems you need to sign a release if you join the Lions backfield. Stafford should have a fun time against a lackluster secondary and Tavon Austin should be in the end zone this week against a lackluster defense as well. Most analysts are extremely down on Austin this week. Me? Love em.
Panthers vs Saints
Notables: Coby Fleener 5600
Jonathan Stewart 6300
This should be the highest scoring game of the week and Brees will finally get the ball to Brandon Cooks(not a notable because he should be started no matter what)and his new weapon Coby Fleener, especially since they will most likely be down early. Jonathan Stewart is one of my favorite starts this week and you should expect a big game from him.
Chiefs vs Raiders
Notables: Michael Crabtree 7000
Travis Kelce 6400
Deandre Washington 5500
Murray looks to be out again this week and it’s truly a toss up on who will make a big play in that backfield between Washington and Richard. If you haven’t started Crabtree yet what is wrong with you? The guy has been absolute money lately even on a slow week like last week. Kelce is their biggest redzone threat and shall continue to be. Pretty straight forward game.
Cowboys vs Packers
This game I am writing thoroughly because the “Big dawg to sit” is in this game. Dak Prescott will get his BIGGEST test this week and will look to his favorite target Cole Beasley whom I think will have a monster game especially if Dez plays as a distraction. I wouldn’t be surprised if they bench him due to them having a bye next week and not risking further injury. Rodgers is looking back to form and Cobb finally had a solid game and then got absolutely rocked and may be shaky this week like he has been the whole season. Which brings me to the Packers defense who’s secondary is hurting without Sam Shields but prevailing enough for wins and their front 7 has been absolutely on fire just like Ezekiel Elliot has been and you must start him. Right?! Not this week! I think Zeke is going to be STUFFED this week in the run game and that Dallas will be down most game. Of course he has big play potential so it’s hard to say bench the number 1 running back in the game but if there was a week you weren’t sure and wanted to use a sleeper? This is it!
Falcons vs Seahawks
Notables: Tevin Coleman 5900
Mohammed Sanu 5500
Christine Michael 7400
Apparently there are going to be very strong winds in this game so both teams should rely heavily on the run. If the winds don’t come I think Sanu will have a better game than Julio in the receptions category solely because of Richard Sherman who shall be shadowing him all game. Let’s see if Ryan can continue his dominance against a top 3 defense.
