Cat Tracks (3/10/16): Ottawa Senators (x) @ Florida Panthers (x)

Cat Tracks is back after a two game hiatus! Panthers bust their funk with a rout of the Ottawa Senators, and get contributions all around.

The Senators controlled play early on for the most part, with the first person looking rather unremarkable for the Panthers, though they lead 1-0 for a period of time.  Things got kicking in the 2nd though. The Panthers had a mad flourish in the second, resulting in three goals, and a 4-2 lead. That included two goals in 14 seconds Aaron Ekblad and Jonathan Huberdeau, just seven seconds shy of the team record for fastest two goals. The Panthers were able to continue scoring in the 3rd, making the game a full blown rout. This is a nice cookie for the Panthers faithful out there, after a rough run of games.

GREEN: Vincent Trocheck collected his second career four point game. It was a 1 goal, 3 assist effort, identical to his other four point game, which was back on opening night against the Philadelphia Flyers.

YELLOW: Perhaps lost in the shuffle of this game is that Jussi Jokinen pushed his points streak to nine games with tonight’s performance. That’s the longest of any Panther this season.

RED: Stop taking all of Jagr’s teeth, Senators!
