That’s better!
The Panthers turned in a first 40 minutes not too dissimilar to the one they turned in last night. Solid, in control, 2-goal lead. However, unlike last night, they showed no satisfaction on a first 40 played well. The 3rd was just as well played as the previous two periods, and the Panthers were able to add to their lead and win. That, for the moment, places the Cats back in first place, pending the result of the Boston/San Jose game, which is being played as I write these words to you.
GREEN: No teeth? No problem! The Canadian conspiracy against players with Pittsburgh connections wasn’t enough to stop Vincent Trocheck. In spite of losing some teeth to a high stick, Trocheck collected two points, representing his 10th multi-point game of the season. He joins Jonathan Huberdeau, Jaromir Jagr, and Jussi Jokinen as Panthers with 10+ multi-point games this season.
YELLOW: Gotta love Nick Bjugstad scoring another goal, that’s two games in a row. Keep it rolling!
RED: BLOOD!!!
