A hockey player shooting a puck wide of an open net is a fairly common occurrence. It’s especially common if you follow the St. Louis Blues. It is, however, pretty rare to see two players skate in on an empty net when the goalie is pulled and for both men to come up empty.

That’s incredible. The Swiss managed to hold on to the win against Latvia, but talk about a goof for the ages.
