Kansas football head coach Charlie Weis was fired following Saturday’s 23-0 loss to Texas at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence. Jayhawks AD Sheahon Zenger made the announcement Sunday morning, naming defensive coordinator Clint Bowen interim coach. This was Weis’ third season as head coach. The Jayhawks are currently 2-2 coming off Saturday’s loss.
