We all know that the University of Kentucky puts big names in the NBA every year. Now there are some names that are bigger than others and some of those names are John Wall and Anthony Davis. This past NBA season John Wall and Anthony Davis both took their respected teams to the NBA playoffs, for Davis it was the first time the Pelicans had been there in years. Now just put those 2 names to the side and let’s focus on a new guy in the league. Everyone calls him “KAT” and he has an imaginary friend named Karlito… Yes you guessed it I’m talking about Karl Anthony Towns. Towns has been mostly unstoppable in summer league play this year and I honestly can see it continuing even when he plays against big time NBA opponents. Look at all the big time talent he had to practice against on Kentucky, what about the fact that he played on the Dominican National team where he faced real pros, or when he was in the Bahamas with Kentucky and he ran through those pro national teams just a year ago? I believe if Towns keeps this play up he will be making the same noise if not better than Wall and Davis are making and I also believe that Towns could potentially be making the same money figure in a couple years that Davis has now. Towns has a long career in front of him if he doesn’t get injured and I for one am very excited to see if he can lead the young Timberwolves to the playoffs.
