Junior Galette’s Agent Says He Will Sign With The Redskins

Just when it looked like the Washington Redskins were done, here they come again. According to his agent Alvin Keels, free agent linebacker Junior Galette will be bringing his talents to the nation’s capital, as confirmed by NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport.

The deal is for a year, and the linebacker will make the veteran minimum.

Junior Galette adds more talent to an already stacked front seven that features the likes of Terrance Knighton, Stephen Paea, and Ryan Kerrigan, among others. His pass-rushing ability is unquestionable, as he registered 22 sacks in his last 2 seasons with the New Orleans Saints, but his legal problems are certainly red flags, especially now that he’s coming to what’s already been an unprdictable locker room situation in D.C.

The Redskins feel confident in the locker room setting this season, according to Rapaport, and feel that guys like Ryan Kerrigan and Keenan Robinson could have a big impact on Galette from a character standpoint.
