2015 Outlook

The Indians will be considered a favorite to win the AL Central as they are considered to be a very dangerous team by some analyst’s. The Indians pitching staff will be lead by 2014 AL Cy Young winner Corey Kluber. The Tribe will suceed if Kluber stays in his dominant Cy Young form and if Carlos Carrasco and the rest of the pitching staff continue’s to pitch as good as they did in the 2nd half of the season last year. The Tribe added a few veterans to their roster in pitchers Gavin Floyd and signing pitcher Bruce Chen to a Minor League deal, and acquiring Brandon Moss from Oakland to add another key bat in the lineup. Nick Swisher and Jason Kipnis should be healthy and if they can get back to their old selves, added with the clutch hitting AL MVP finalist Michael Brantley and the re-emerging Carlos Santana, this Tribe squad will bring excitement back to the Corner of “Carnegie and Ontario” as Indians radio broadcaster Tom Hamilton calls the Tribe’s home since Progressive (Jacobs) Field opened in 1994.

2015 Prediction

Indians finish with a record of 92-70 and win the AL Central but fall in ALDS. The Central will be back and forth before the dust settles, the Tribe will come out on top with Detroit finishing a game back in 2nd place but clinches a Wild Card birth while Kansas City finishes a 2 1/2 back but plays in a play in game for the 2nd Wildcard against a team out of the AL West.
