Troubled Former Saints Star Paying D.C. A Visit

The Washington Redskins have added a ton of new faces to a defense that badly needed to get better. Now there’s  a chance they may add another big name.Junior Galette, the former member of the New Orleans Saints, is scheduled to visit the Redskins camp this afternoon, according to Albert Breer of NFL.com.

Galette is coming off a 2014 season in which he registered 10 sacks. He has registered 31.5 sacks in his 5 years in the league, 22 of them coming over the last 2 seasons. But the talented edge rusher has had hs share of problems off the field. An arrest for an alleged physical altercation in 2013, another arest in January, and reported tensions in the locker room between Galette and his teammates all led to his eventual release. If he does make the Redskins roster, there’s a chance he could miss some playing time should commisioner Roger Goodell decide to suspend him.

At this point, Junior Gallette would be a high risk for any team that decides to take a chance and sign him. For a team like the Redskins, who could use all the quality help they can get get upfront, he is just as much a high reward. http://gty.im/460270242
