Ken Pomeroy recently dove into the topic of shooting slumps, and in typical Pomeroy fashion, he systematically and unemotionally made writers like Andy Katz look silly. He tackled Brady Heslip's "slump", and showed how it was much ado about nothing.
But inside that article, Pomeroy mentioned another article by Jeff Goodman that I either hadn't seen before, or I had seen and completely forgotten about. It was probably the latter, as a) Jeff Goodman is one of the best writers out there, and I typically read what he writes, but b) the volume of similar posts come basketball season would fill an arena if they were printed out. The article Pomeroy linked discussed without linking (bad Ken) was Goodman's ranking of the top shooters in college basketball.
This reminded me that I've also written articles about the top shooters in college basketball. Naturally, I wanted to see how I stacked up against Goodman.
His list was longer than mine (hey, I have a job) but luckily his shooters were listed in order. So I trimmed his list to match mine, and looked at the results. Here they are:
