Divison II Team Scores 35 Runs, Player Records 7 Hits In Single Game

There is impressive and then there is amazing. This feat stands near the latter. Colin Rosenbaum, a sophomore from Belmont Abbey College, managed to go 7 for 7 in a 35-3 route against, Division II opponent, Brevard College. The Crusader shortstop tallied 4 doubles, a home run, a walk and six RBIs during his eight plate appearances early Tuesday afternoon. Quite the impressive  Rosenbaum performance for the young man from Archdale, North Carolina.

Rosenbaum would not be the only Crusader to impress as Nick Beinlich, a junior from Easton, Pennsylvania, would also tally 6 hits in the contest, recording a double, two home runs and six RBIs of his own. The Crusaders posted a rather impressive box score as a team during the outing, which you can see below:

Belmont Abbey College, a Division II school located in Belmont, North Carolina, is currently ranked  #7 overall by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. The Crusaders are 31-8-1 on the season.
