As we wind down another month here at Super Two Sports, I have decided(after some deliberation and 3 cups of coffee) to add a new wrinkle to how we connect with our fans and followers. As of today, the first day of each month will now be accompanied by a “State of the Blog” address to keep you in the loop about future endeavors as well as thank you for the recent month’s performance.
Sports blogs are not successful on their own. Blogs are successful because of you, the sports fan. Thanks to you, Super Two Sports has increased in average daily viewership for the 8th straight month, April being our highest month in this regard. In addition, we have also broken the 1,600 follower mark on Twitter while seeing a monthly increase in impressions and follower interaction. The latter of this being most important.
We look forward to great things in the coming months with many different possibilities. First off, we would like to revamp and relaunch our brews and reviews section. In the past we have had beer reviews, stadium food reviews as well as stadium photos and reviews. This is an open forum for anyone(21+ for beer reviews) to review their favorite beers, stadiums and foods. If you are interested in reviewing any of the items listed above, please email us at supertwosports@gmail.com with “Review” in the subject line. We will gladly give you more details at that point
In addition, we have also had discussion about adding a product testing tab for those start-up companies looking to get their products out there. If you are a company interested in having your product reviewed, please email us at supertwosports@gmail.com with “Product Review” in the subject line.
A great pitcher is always expanding and tweaking their repertoire. We are no different. Super Two Sports will be looking to add a weekly podcast. There is no official start date for this, however, we are hoping to launch sooner rather than later.
As always, we are sports blog for sports fans, by sports fans and are always looking to add to our ever-growing list of contributors. And so, as April has come to an end and May has entered its first day, I will bring this inaugural State of the Blog Address to a close. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, the reader. It is because of you that we have become as successful as we have today. Your passion, loyalty and criticism pushed us to be better and for that we thank you. Super Two Sports may still be in its infancy but thanks to an amazing fan base and our outstanding core of writers, the best is yet to come.
