According to police, the man seen in the Twitter photo circulating around the internet is, in fact, not the alleged bottle thrower. The photo has been spreading like wildfire since the incident as many believed he was the culprit. The actual bottle thrower was identified as 21-year-old Sidney Smith from Delaware.
I guess it’s true you can’t believe everything you see on the internet and it’s hard not to feel sorry for the man who was misidentified in the incident.
However, the man in the photo was wearing salmon colored khaki shorts and what appears to be moccasins with black socks to a baseball game which is a violation in its own right.
