Texas Rangers Reliever Takes Shot At Clinton

It was announced yesterday that former St. Louis Cardinals’ scouting director, Chris Correa, would be sentenced to 46 months in jail for his role in hacking the Houston Astros’ database. Correa was charged with 5 counts of unauthorized access to a protected computer. Using this access, the 36-year-old Correa was able to see sensitive documents relating to the Astros’ scouting and trade operations.

The Twittersphere blew up with reactions to the sentencing. However, none quite like Jake Diekman. Diekman, a relief pitcher for the Texas Rangers, had an interesting take on the whole controversy.

Diekman has since removed the tweet but not before the Twitter trolls were able to capture a screenshot. Although not completely similar situations, it does make one wonder about the justice system in America.

Jake Diekman pitched for the Philadelphia Phillies from 2012 until he was traded as part of the Cole Hamels steel in 2015.

What do you think? Is Diekman on to something?
