During the first quarter of the Chicago Bears’ Week 4 matchup with the rival Green Bay Packers inside Soldier Field, Jay Cutler fumbled the snap on a fourth-and-one play inside opposing territory. In unconventional fashion though, the Bears quarterback quickly scooped up the football and took off down the middle of the field for a 16-yard gain.
Following the run, Packers safety Sam Shields was flagged for unnecessary roughness. The penalty tacked an extra 10 yards to Cutler’s gain and placed the Bears well within the red zone.
