When Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is at his best, he can buy time in the pocket and make throws with pinpoint accuracy.
That’s what happened in the second quarter of Monday night’s game against the Detroit Lions, when multiple Lions defensive linemen had a chance to sack him, but no one could.
The Seahawks were faced with a third-and-12 situation, looking to build some momentum in what was a scoreless game at the time. Wilson gave them a boost, and then some. The Lions brought interior pressure, and Jason Jones came flying through the middle. Wilson spun away from him to buy some time, but was then met by Ziggy Ansah. Wilson juked the hell out of him, and then threw an absolute dime to Jermaine Kearse for a 34-yard gain.
**WARNING** If you don’t tackle Russell Wilson he will punish you. The Lions learned the hard way. #DETvsSEA http://t.co/7tJHenAYmX
