New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall delivered the dagger in Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins.
Marshall fought off contact from Bashaud Breeland and caught a back-shoulder throw from Ryan Fitzpatrick with his fingertips. The pass was low and not too many receivers would’ve made the catch to begin with, but Marshall didn’t stop there. He stiff-armed Breeland and knocked him down, and then was off to the races.
Spoiler alert: No one could catch him.
The 35-yard touchdown catch made Marshall’s fantasy owners happy, and the Jets jumped out to a 27-13 lead in the game.
