Chicago Bulls center Pau Gasol will “very likely” opt out of his contract this summer and test the free-agent market. But where will he go?
Surely some team out there could use a seven-footer with Gasol’s experience and ability. After all, he did average 16.5 points and 11 rebounds whilst being named an All-Star for the sixth time in his career.
Gasol’s younger brother Marc, who plays for the Memphis Grizzlies, said his advice for big bro would be to go play for the San Antonio Spurs.
Marc Gasol was just asked about brother, Pau, and said his advice would be for him to go to San Antonio at this stage of his career.

Gasol won two championships with the Los Angeles Lakers but a third would be possible with the Spurs, who almost always contend for a championship. And if Tim Duncan decides to retire, who better than Gasol to replace him?
San Antonio is a prime destination for players at the end of their careers, so you have to think Gasol, at 35, will consider it.
