Payet, who assisted the first France Goal and created eight scoring chances, was named Man of the Match. Shortly after scoring, he was subbed off to a huge reception and could not contain his emotions.

It had been 369 days since the 29-year-old Payet scored his first goal for France. This goal, however, will probably be more memorable than the first.
