We as a society really value our cell phones nowadays, and Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden is no different.
McFadden reportedly broke his right elbow and underwent surgery on Tuesday, but the nature of it is not what you might expect.

Cowboys RBs coach Gary Brown said Darren McFadden received that “pre-CBA money” so he can afford another phone.

The accident happened over Memorial Day weekend, and McFadden is currently slated to be out for two months.
The timing here is unfortunate, as McFadden was coming off one of his best seasons in the league, in which he racked up 1,089 yards (3 TDs). It remains to be seen whether this will cause first-round-pick Ezekiel Elliott to be in the mix more with the first team, or if it’ll be veteran Alfred Morris getting more touches.
