Jalen Ramsey the highest-rated rookie in Madden 17

Madden 17 doesn’t come out for another month, but player ratings for the 2016 rookie class were released on Wednesday.

Jalen Ramsey, the No. 5 overall pick in the NFL draft, takes the top spot with an 82 rating. The Jacksonville Jaguars defensive back rated in the 90s in speed, acceleration, agility, jumping and stamina. He was also rated two points higher than the next-best rookie: Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, who went before Ramsey with the No. 4 overall pick.

The top 10 rookie player ratings in Madden 17

  1. Jalen Ramsey, 82

  3. Ronnie Stanley, 79
