Kevin Durant on Kobe Bryant’s work ethic: ‘That’s exactly what I want to be like’

Kobe Bryant plays his last game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night, which means it’ll be the last time he and Kevin Durant meet on the basketball court.

When Durant came into the league in 2007, Bryant had already won two championships and been named an All-Star nine times. Naturally, Durant looked up to Bryant, but so did a lot of NBA players.

In 2012, Durant and Bryant played on the U.S. Olympic team, which went on to win the gold medal in London. While speaking to reporters Monday, Durant shared an interesting story about Bryant’s work ethic.

So far, Durant is on the right path with his work ethic. He’s one of the game’s best players. But to be like Bryant, he’s going to need to add some championships.
