Odell Beckham Jr. names Patrick Peterson as NFL’s best cornerback

Who’s the best cornerback in the NFL? New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. says it’s Patrick Peterson.

Beckham “was asked which defensive player gave wide receivers the most trouble when speaking at a Sky Sports’ Facebook Live event and he named the perennial Pro Bowler from the Arizona Cardinals.

“I think the best cornerback in the league, I haven’t got the experience of playing against—[Patrick] Peterson. By far one of the best in the game, hands-down. He’s going to follow you from your house, to his house, to the sidelines, to the cricket field!”

Beckham missed the Giants’ home-opener against the Cardinals in 2014 because of a hamstring injury, which explains him not facing Peterson yet. New York does not play Arizona in the upcoming season, so Beckham will have to wait a little longer to face Peterson for the first time, that is unless the Giants and Cardinals were to meet in the playoffs next season.

Who wouldn’t want to see a couple of LSU guys go at it on the football field?
