The Philadelphia Eagles agreed to a trade with the Cleveland Browns to acquire the second overall pick in the 2016 draft, the team announced Wednesday afternoon. Here are the details of the trade:

“By making the initial trade with Miami earlier this offseason and with this trade today with Cleveland, we feel that we have put ourselves in the best possible position to draft an impact player,” Eagles GM Howie Roseman said in a statement. “We will now focus our energy on the next step.”
This is the second blockbuster trade in the draft in as many weeks. The Los Angeles Rams made headlines Apr. 14 when they acquired the first overall pick from the Tennessee Titans.
It’s almost certain that both the Rams and Eagles will draft a quarterback with the first two picks.
And so the first two picks, in one form or another, will be Jared Goff and Carson Wentz.

How the Eagles manage their quarterback situation will be interesting. They signed Sam Bradford to a contract extension in March and acquired Chase Daniel in free agency. That’s going to be a crowded spot for them next season.
