Rob Gronkowski challenges Shaquille O’Neal to a 3-point contest

Rob Gronkowski vs. Shaquille O’Neal. Who’s a better 3-point shooter?

After Ernie Johnson beat Charles Barkley in a 3-point contest on Inside the NBA during Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday night, the New England Patriots tight end challenged O’Neal to a 3-point contest.

Gronkowski used to pack gyms with his high-flying dunks in high school, and he averaged 21 points and 18 rebounds in 2006 as one of the top centers in western New York. So, yes, he’s played basketball before.

Meanwhile, O’Neal, who played 19 years in the NBA, was 1-of-22 from behind the arc in his career. But this isn’t O’Neal’s first time being challenged on Inside the NBA. He beat Barkley in a 3-point contest, and defeated host of NBA Inside Stuff Kristen Ledlow to a free-throw shooting contest.

If the Gronk vs. Shaq actually happens, it will be must-watch TV.
