Watch: Cam Newton grants Make-a-Wish to young Panthers fan

Cam Newton was able to lift a young fan’s spirits earlier this month with a little help from Make-a-Wish and the Lokai bracelet company.

The Carolina Panthers quarterback spent a weekend with 11-year-old Noah, who’s currently battling a life-threatening pulmonary condition. Newton surprised Noah at a local bowling alley and they later attended a Charlotte Hornets basketball game together.

As part of his surprise, Noah got a tour of Carolina’s Bank of America Stadium, where he also got to meet wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin and a couple of other players.

“Whenever I’m down, I can think of my time with Cam, and how special of a moment that was for me,” Noah says in the video.

The last image most people remember of the reigning MVP is of him at a podium wearing the hood of his sweatshirt over his head and walking out of his postgame news conference after the Panther had lost the Super Bowl. Now, they will remember him for this, raising a young fan’s spirits.
