Video: UConn Huskies Football Coach Bob Diaco Reflects On His Time in Cincinnati

When the UConn Huskies football team heads to the Queen City for a matchup with the Cincinnati Bearcats, it will be a homecoming of sorts for head coach Bob Diaco.

The UConn Huskies football coach spent the 2009 season with the Bearcats as their defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach after being at Virginia for three years. He then moved on to Notre Dame with former Cincinnati and now Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly.

When asked about his time in Cincinnati on Tuesday, the UConn Huskies football coach reflected back on the time he spent there.

Video: UConn Hockey Freshmen Continue To Impress

UConn hockey coach Mike Cavanaugh doesn’t want to heap too much praise on his freshman just yet. They are after all just freshman playing in their third career game.

But you can’t help but notice that before this game, Max Letunov and Tage Thompson, both UConn hockey freshman were on top of the scoring list. Plus two other freshman, Miles Gendron and Joseph Masonius had a goal each.

The freshman class continued their scoring ways in Friday night’s 5-1 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils with five points. Letunov and Masonius both had two assists while Max Kalter added his first career game.

After the game, Cavanaugh talked about the freshman and their play through the first three games:
