It was 26 years ago today that Amazing Grace and Chuck was released, which was the major movie debut for former South Carolina star Alex English. English beat out Bernard King and Magic Johnson for the roll of a Boston Celtics star. The game footage was even shot during an actual pre-season game. English – who didn't play for the Celtics – suited up regardless and took a tremendous number of 3-pointers at the request of the film makers.
