49ers fans chant ‘We want Kap’ during game (VIDEO)

It didn’t take long for San Francisco 49ers fans to state their case for why Colin Kaepernick should be starting over Blaine Gabbert.

With the Cardinals taking the lead, 14-7, for the first time in the Thursday night game at Levi’s Stadium, 14-7, the 49ers received the ball on their first offensive drive of the second half and did absolutely nothing with it. They picked up only four yards on three plays, and punted the football.

The fans then responded with “We want Kap” chants.

Gabbert then responded by leading the team on a 13-play, 82-yard drive which ended with a touchdown, cutting the Cardinals’ lead to 21-14, but things didn’t get much better for the 49ers after that.

If the (1-4) 49ers don’t turn things around soon, the fans may soon get their wish.
