A.J. Green beats Darrelle Revis for TD pass (VIDEO)

A.J. Green made Revis Island look like some fun vacation resort and not the Alcatraz that it’s been in the past.

The Bengals’ receiver separated himself from the vaunted Jets’ cornerback and caught this 54-yard touchdown pass to give the Bengals a 10-7 lead over the Jets in the second quarter on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

Green had four receptions for 76 yards midway through the second quarter. This is the kind of production the Bengals are going to need from Green after losing Marvin Jones and Mohamad Sanu during the offseason.

The 28-year-old Green has been a Pro Bowler in each of his five seasons in the league. The 31-year-old Revis, meanwhile, is still a perennial Pro Bowler. But he’s been vulnerable against the league’s elite receivers over the past couple of years.

And Green showed in this clip that he’s definitely an elite receiver.
