Aaron Rodgers escapes sack and Davante Adams makes tough catch (VIDEO)

If there’s one play the crystallizes how tough of a time the Jaguars are giving the Packers in Jacksonville, it’s this Aaron Rodgers touchdown pass to Davante Adams.

Rookie cornerback Jalen Ramsey grasped Rodgers’ jersey, but Rodgers avoided the sack and threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Adams to give the Packers a 21-17 lead with 13 seconds left in the first half.

It shouldn’t be surprising that the Jaguars are giving the Packers a game. They worked to improve their defense through the draft and free agency during the offseason. Ramsey was the fifth overall pick in the draft.

What might be a little surprising is that Adams made such a difficult catch. The third-year receiver has a reputation for dropping passes and the Packers are waiting for a breakout season from him. He beat former teammate Davon House for this touchdown and five minutes into the second half he had three catches for 50 yards.
