After conquering his fellow draftees to earn the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, Andrew Wiggins is now taking on the world. The Timberwolves forward is leading the charge for Team Canada in the FIBA Americas Championship, and he’s doing so in style. Last week Wiggins made the highlight reel by dunking on J.J. Barea. Today, “Maple Jordan” went up and over former Bulls, Kings and 76ers forward Andrés Nocioni in a move that will be immortalized on bedroom walls all over Canada.
For Canada, the game’s outcome was far less spectacular than Wiggins’ vertical, as they fell to Argentina 94-87.
