As if all the hysteria surrounding the NFL and domestic violence hasn’t already been difficult enough to consume in such a short period of time, it appears another athlete has joined what is becoming a long list of NFL players arrested for domestic violence.
According to 3TV Sports’ Tyler Baldwin, Arizona Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer was arrested for domestic violence Wednesday afternoon.

Cards RB Jonathan Dwyer was escorted out to PHX Police after Wednesday practice to try and avoid media attention.

-aggravated assault
-preventing someone from calling 911

It’s good to see these cases finally getting the attention they deserve, but it’s troubling to see so much of it coming out of the NFL in such rapid succession. It will be interesting to see how the Cardinals and the league address the matter in the coming days. As of this posting, the team has yet to address the incident.
