Blake Griffin hits Raptors player in face with shoe (VIDEO)

Blake Griffin had the right idea when he tried to throw a shoe off the court during Wednesday’s exhibition game against the Raptors, but his execution was a bit off.

Griffin was set up near the top of the key, and he encountered a shoe that was laying on the court near him. As a teammate prepared to pass him the ball, Griffin picked up the shoe and tossed it.

He caught the pass, but unfortunately, Raptors guard Cory Joseph got hit in the face with the shoe.

Obviously there was no intent there, so it wasn’t a savage move by Griffin. And the good news was that Joseph was OK afterwards, and was just caught off guard by the flying shoe.
