Brad Ausmus curses out umpire (VIDEO)

It has been a frustrating past few weeks for the Detroit Tigers — having lost 11 of their last 13 contests.

On Monday night, the frustration boiled over for manager Brad Ausmus.

After posting an eight-run first inning against the Minnesota Twins, the Tigers all but let the lead slip away by the middle innings.

Nick Castellanos struck out on a questionable call in the bottom of the fourth, prompting a fed up Ausmus to leave the dugout. By questioning the balls and strikes, he was tossed. But Ausmus was going to get his money’s worth…and then some.

He unleashed a verbal tirade toward home plate umpire Doug Eddings. Lucky for us, some mic at Comerica Park caught the one-sided conversation.

Cover your ears, kids.

Then, continuing to take a page from Lou Pinella or Billy Martin, Ausmus removed his sweatshirt and covered the plate with it.
