CoCo Vandeweghe is having a rough day.
She squared off against Bethanie Mattek-Sands in the second round of the U.S. Open on Wednesday, and got dominated in straight sets.
At one point during the first set, when Vandeweghe was trailing 5-0, she completely lost it. She sat down for the changeover, and then proceeded to smash her racket on the court.
Vandeweghe then motioned to the crowd—as if she was looking for them to acknowledge what she was doing—and then stood up and smashed it some more.
At least she provided the crowd with some entertainment.
