The Cleveland Browns are down to Charlie Whitehurst and Terrelle Pryor at quarterback after Cody Kessler left Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots thanks to a wicked shot.
Kessler, a rookie, took a brutal hit from linebacker Dont’a Hightower and stayed down before exiting the field.

The Browns had turned to Kessler after injures to Robert Griffin III and Josh McCown.
Now it’s up to Whitehurst, a guy with 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions to his name since entering the league in 2006. Given his unproven track record, the Browns are probably better off trotting out Pryor under center and seeing what happens.
What’s the worst that could happen while trying to keep pace with the Patriots?
