Everybody just wanted the game between the Indianapolis Colts and San Diego Chargers to end.
Andrew Luck hit T.Y. Hilton for a game-winning touchdown with a little more than a minute left in regulation. Fun, but the game wouldn’t end, not with flags and punts and untimed downs prolonging the affair.
When the game finally ended, Bob Lamey, a Colts radio announcer, let his relief fly unfiltered on the broadcast.
The audio (NSFW):
I swear to God @jakequery was right. Bob Lamey said it right to my face on Pioneer Speakers. Thank god it wasn’t Two for Tuesday. State Law pic.twitter.com/yhjQyh7lDr

Despite doing his job and saying what everyone was probably thinking, the 77-year-old announcer was quick to own up to his mistake and apologize:
Bob Lamey offered a strong apology on Colts Roundtable tonight: “I’m extremely ashamed of myself.” Apologizes to Irsays, Colts, and fans.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem Lamey was around to announce a certain debate Monday night.
