Dad catches foul ball with baby strapped to chest (VIDEO)

One particular dad became a star on Mother’s Day by protecting his baby son and snagging a foul ball during the Mets-Phillies game at Citizens Bank Park on Sunday.

When Daniel Murphy fouled off a pitch, the 30-year-old Phillies fan had decisions to make being that his son was strapped to his chest in a baby carrier. As the foul ball went flying in his direction, his fatherly instincts kicked in as he reached out with his bare hand and calmly caught the ball.

It may have been Mother’s Day, but this super dad stole the show on Sunday.
