Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray didn’t get off to the hot start that he was hoping for against his former team on Sunday. In fact, it was quite the opposite, as Murray currently has 10 carries for -9 yards midway through the fourth quarter against the Dallas Cowboys.
Murray was visibly frustrated during the game, as he demanded the ball on the sideline during a short outburst at one point. He later got into it with one of his former teammates, Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey.
After Sean Lee pushed Murray out of bounds at the end of a play, the Eagles running back bumped into Bailey on the sideline. Bailey grabbed him, and Murray then attempted to break away from his former teammate. He then tossed the football at Bailey.
Bailey was hit with a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct, and the Eagles ended up scoring their first points of the game on a field goal as a result, cutting the Cowboys’ lead to 13-3.
