NBA star Dirk Nowitzki traded in his high tops for soccer cleats, playing in a charity celebrity soccer match Wednesday in his native Germany.
The seven-footer had some fun with a penalty shot in the 69th minute when he imitated Simone Zaza, who famously let Italy fans down with his bizarre penalty miss against Germany at Euro 2016.
In case you missed it, Zaza’s badly taken penalty included an unorthodox run-up which resembled the running man dance. Nowitzki nailed Zaza’s miss to a tee, getting those knees high and missing wide of the net.

He also tried to do a bicycle but failed miserably. Good thing he plays basketball and not soccer.
