Draymond Green wasn’t exactly thrilled with Kyrie Irving’s clutch shot vs. Australia

Kyrie Irving did what Kyrie Irving does best recently with Team USA struggling against Australia at the 2016 Rio Olympics, hitting a clutch shot to lead the team to victory.

It was an instant flashback to the NBA Finals when Irving drained a late three-pointer to put the Cleveland Cavaliers over the Golden State Warriors.

In fact, Irving’s teammate, Draymond Green—a guy on the receiving end of that clutch shot in the Finals—didn’t take so well to the Olympics heroics:

One can’t blame Green for the comments. Look how close the shots were in terms of positioning on the court:

Eerie, really. Irving continues to emerge as one of the best point guards in the world this year and it’s fun to dream up what he does next. Alongside Carmelo Anthony’s epic output, Team USA continues to roll, the struggles against Australia merely a small bump on the road.

Green, public reaction or not, has to love it. This time he’s along for the ride instead of victimized by Irving’s incredible clutch gene. It’s the rest of the world that has to deal with it now.
