Sunday’s game between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions at Soldier Field got crazy at the end, but not before a fan ran onto the field.
Said fan happened to be in a gorilla suit. The suit had a shirt on with the saying ‘All Lives Matter’ on it.
Twitter user Nik Gaur captured video of the whole ordeal:

The fan was surprisingly nimble and evasive for wearing a big gorilla suit. Twitter reacted to the shenanigans in many ways:
Let the guy in the gorilla suit run. The whole schtick is premised on being chased. What would he do if ignored?

Also Breaking; Idiot in gorilla suit was tackled around the 45-yard line and is now being led into the bowels of Soldier Field. #smrt

I just watched a dude in a gorilla costume get bodyslammed by security. Bob Quinn’s probably wondering how much it’d take to sign him.

Folks didn’t get to see this on television thanks to a commercial break.
Or in other words, more proof the internet is quite the incredible tool, right?
After the distraction, the Bears held off the Lions to get their first win of the season and end a six-game losing streak to their division rivals.
